Behind epic shots there’s always an awesome team, good moments and tons of wipeouts!

What was that trip ? At Takuma we usually gather all our riders once a year to test and shoot our full product range. Our most recent trip was epic beyond belief, in one of the most incredible and coveted waves spots in the world,Tahiti. Our international riders; Clément Colmas, Léo-Paul Etienne and Théo Demanez teamed up with our local pros; Matahi Drollet, Lorenzo Avvenenti and Tikanui Smith. Between them, they have pushed the boundaries of foiling even further than we thought imaginable.

Brought together by our respect for the same element; water, we spend the most incredible moments together. The ocean and its powerful waves, especially in Tahiti, could frighten many an average rider, but these boys have tamed this element and made it their home.

Until now we’ve not shown these wipeouts from Tahiti, you have only previously had access to the stunning, pristine product action shots, when everything came together perfectly. We are now giving you the privileged view to see that these guys are human after all. Putting our team in the spotlight and showing you how fun that trip really was.

Our travels to get the best shots are a reflection of the pleasure and passion we have for this sport. The simplest moments bring us joy and we appreciate nothing more than being together on the water and sharing the salty stoke. Flying above water is definitely the ultimate sensation. Looking forward to the next trip already!
